Tips go to the newsroom inbox and are read by a person, not a machine. This is a pilot without a full-time newsroom, so a reply may take a few days — corrections are read first. Anonymous tips are welcome: leave the contact fields blank and we have no way to identify you. If a tip leads to a story, we never identify a source without explicit permission.
