Lucid recalls 27,185 vehicles: Park Outside: Exterior Lighting Circuit May Cause Fire
Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Air vehicles. The exterior lighting circuit may have insufficient overcurrent protection, allowing the circuit to overheat. An overheated circuit increases the risk of a fire. A loss of the center brake light or front lights can also decrease visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA advises owners to park the affected vehicles outside and away from buildings until they are repaired. Owners are advised to park their vehicle outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is completed. Lucid has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2026. Owners may contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-26-06-0. About 27,185 vehicles are covered nationwide.
