I-75/I-675 interchange sees overnight closures again
ODOT crews will shut down I-75 at the I-675 interchange for short stretches overnight as they finish overhead sign work near Dayton.
Drivers heading through the I-75/I-675 interchange overnight on October 18 and 19 will hit short, full closures in both directions while crews finish overhead sign work ODOT. The closures will come in brief bursts rather than one long shutdown ODOT. The work site sits about 24.2 miles from New Carlisle ODOT.
What drivers should expect
The closures will last about 15 minutes at a time between SR 73 and SR 725, running from 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. ODOT. Traffic will be held back in a rolling roadblock escorted by law enforcement during each closure ODOT. Because the closures repeat through the night, drivers may be stopped more than once before reaching the interchange ODOT.
The same stretch of I-75 saw a nearly identical closure for the same overhead sign work earlier in the month, from October 14 to 16, also running 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. with a rolling roadblock ODOT. That closure sat about 24.5 miles from New Carlisle, just north of this week's site ODOT.
The Ohio Department of Transportation reported the closure on October 18, 2026, with work expected to clear by October 19 ODOT.
