New Carlisle ActBlue giving falls for second month
Donors in the 45344 ZIP code gave $2,037 to ActBlue in August 2026, the lowest monthly total since May, as other local political giving stayed scattered across smaller committees.
Giving falls for a second month
August's total was 12% lower than the $2,315 donors gave in July, which was itself down from $2,367 in June FEC +2. That makes two months of decline in a row FEC. The August figure also sits 17.4% below the $2,466.17 New Carlisle donors gave when the count began in October 2025 FEC.
Even with the drop, August's $2,037 came in above the average monthly total of about $1,547 since the count began in October 2025 FEC. The total has not returned to the high seen at the start of the count FEC. It has also stayed well clear of the low point reached in March FEC.
Lowest total since May
August's total was the lowest since May 2026, when New Carlisle donors gave $1,809 FEC +1. The low point came in March 2026, when giving fell to $866 FEC. The high came at the start of the count in October 2025, at $2,466 FEC. August's number sits between those two points, closer to the lower end after two months of decline FEC.
Other committees also drew gifts
New Carlisle donors also sent smaller amounts to other committees in September and October 2026 FEC +7. Those committees included:
- Trump National Committee JFC FEC
- Ranger PAC FEC
- McCormick Victory Fund FEC
- Common Sense For America PAC FEC
- United Pilots PAC FEC
- The 1776 Project PAC FEC
- Team Scalise FEC +1
None of those monthly totals topped $158, far below what ActBlue collected locally the same season FEC +1.
