Why they were recalled

The commission says the rails can let a user become trapped between the rail and the mattress, raising a risk of death by asphyxiation CPSC. They also fall short of structural stability and retention-strap requirements, creating a fall hazard, and have push pins sized incorrectly, which can cause lacerations CPSC. The manufacturer, Zhongshan Lebo Medical Co. of China, has received one report of a consumer fall involving the AG-12011 model CPSC. The rails, models 12014, AG-12011 and 12016, were sold only online at Amazon.com from April 2025 through May 2026 for between $50 and $80 CPSC.
