Yinklev is recalling about 32,791 Jocoevol six-drawer dressers that can tip over if not anchored to a wall. The hazard can seriously injure or kill a child, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said. The dressers violate the federal STURDY Act's stability standard and sold on Amazon.com from December 2024 through July 2026 for about $160. CPSC

What to do

Anyone with one of the dressers should stop using it right away if it isn't anchored to the wall, and keep it somewhere children can't reach it. Yinklev is offering a full refund to owners who contact the company. Consumers will be asked to write "RECALLED" on the dresser in permanent marker, photograph it and email the photo to Yinklev before throwing the dresser away. The recall is nationwide; the commission does not say how many of the dressers reached Ohio or New Carlisle. CPSC
